Agreed.

Considering how good horror and sci fi on TV has become, I think The X Files needs to step it up a few notches.

The revival was good but it wasn't great. I want to see more horror and monsters this time around.

Bandaid Nose man was a great fucking monster IMHO. I loved how he literally tore people apart. I read somewhere that there was originally supposed to be a 7th episode in the miniseries that was going to have an ant monster. Maybe we'll see that in the new season.

That episode was really good.

If you look at what's been on TV in the past few years in the horror genre, there's been some truly horrifying stuff and that's what The X Files is now having to compete with. Times have changed and I can't see why X Files can't be as gory and horrific as some of the newer shows have been.

Maybe they'll surprise us and do something as ballsy as Home.

Hannibal, Penny Dreadful, Outcast

Loads of great horror on the box the past few years.

I love The X-Files. So glad to hear the will be back. I agree about the Monster of the Week episodes. They are the best. "Home" is one of my all time favorite episodes. I wish they would do more like that with a real shock value to them.

Just saw on Facebook that it was 19 years ago today when the first X-Files movie Fight the Future was released. I still remember seeing it in the theater. Hard to believe it's that long ago. Now I really feel old. :(

Hey X-Files nerds, apparently this is canon:

https://www.audible.com/pd/Sci-Fi-Fanta ... _anon_desk

It's based on the season 10 comics and it's not that bad!
