Channel Zero

Post by Mayday » Wed Nov 09, 2016 8:28 pm

Has anyone been watching Syfy's Channel Zero: Candle Cove?
Although it started out kinda shaky, this show has gotten freaky creepy and awesome.
It took almost 3 eps to get its footing, but these last two eps have just thrown a slew of incredible unsettling story developments and very unpredictable plot twists into the mix.
I admit that I had to go back and read recaps of all the eps to completely get the picture, but the story has definitely developed into something great. While it's good that it's only 6 eps total for the season, so they stay focused without a lot of unnecessary filler and drama, I'm at this point mildly disappointed it's not at least another 2-4 eps, just because of how well the story has grown as the show went along.
Can't wait to see the finale next week.

Channel Zero has already been greenlit for a 3rd and 4th season by Syfy. Season 2 premiers in October. I don't know if I can wait that long.
Glad to see their format of turning a Creepypasta into a 6-ep. run has, thus far, worked.

I watched season 1. Overall, this show is way creepier than most stuff out there. I for one will never forget that teeth kid..

Excited for Season 2, the premise intrigues me.

The Channel Zero anthology series continues with a new story. Inspired by Brian Russell’s Creepypasta tale, Channel Zero: No-End House tells the story of a young woman named Margot Sleator, played by Amy Forsyth, who visits the No-End House, a bizarre house of horrors that consists of a series of increasingly disturbing rooms. When she returns home, Margot realizes everything has changed. Nick Antosca will return as executive producer, showrunner and writer for the second installment of the series alongside executive producer Max Landis.

Premieres Fall 2017

Anyone else watch the premiere of No End House? It was a solid first episode with some eerie moments. Room #3 got to me the most. I was like "Shut up already!"

I was surprised they went that far in the house in the first episode. Looking forward to the next episode.

Thanks to your post I discovered that my DVR didn't record the first episode. I was sure I had programmed it, but apparently I didn't, so I had to watch it On Demand.

Agree, interesting premise and surprised they went all the way in the first ep., but the ending was definitely not expected. The previews for the upcoming eps look cray-cray!
