Shooting began last week on REC 3: Genesis, the third film in Filmax’s Spanish-language franchise that’s under the direction of co-creator Paco Plaza. This time around Plaza will be utilizing the web to take fans behind-the-scenes of production. Here’s a translation of his first blog, with an accompanying video (in Spanish) available here.

The ‘cube’ of fear

Hi, folks.

Paco Plaza here. This is the first in a series of videos I share with you the experience of filming ‘REC3’. I will present them during the next few weeks details of the shooting, interesting and many of those that make the movie (crew, actors …) Hope you like it. To begin, I show the ‘cube’ that accompanies us in the movies. Some threw candy and bakery products to face the shooting.

A hug.

Nothing exciting, but who knows what kind of treats he’ll be sneaking onto the web in the coming weeks? We’ll keep our eyes posted.
