Resident Evil films - BLOODY-DISGUSTING

Ok...I have afew things to say about the Resident Evil film series. Im a huge fan of the games, so when I first heard news of the movie i was geeked. it opened, i saw it, i loved it..and then watched it a few more times. Next came Apocalypse...A big disappointment. It tried so hard to be a good movie while trying to stay true to the game (RE3). it was atrocious (tho not nearly as bad as the House of the Dead outing...ugh!!!) Then Extinction very well done, heavier on the gore and it was unique. Now coming soon is Afterlife.
Personally Im tired as hell of Alice. I think her story is becoming retarded (like the mutant like powers she had in extinction) My thoughts are...if you want to continue her story and evolve her then give her a video game. and start again with the OG characters (i.e chris, Leon, and a more realistic Jill, claire was cast perfectly tho a little too Sarah Connor-ish)
ANOTHER THING...I think RE would make an excellent on going television series not on the CW tho. too much drama shit. Maybe fox, syfy, or even HBO or SHOWTIME. Lets get back to the basics for Resident EVIL

I don't mind the movies, EXTINCTION was in my opinion better than APOCALYPSE. I can't wait to see AFTERLIFE.

I never cared for Alice though. In the second one, Paul Anderson made her superhuman almost just to show off and make Jill Valentine look inferior.

The animated movie DEGENERATION was okay.

If they do this reboot, I'd prefer a full adaptation of the RE remake. The mansion, snake, hunters, Tyrant, etc.

Here's hoping that Afterlife isn't a complete clusterfuck and actually does the first 2 movies justice

I agree Alice is a boring character. And Jill just got on my nerves. I mean did Anderson HAVE to give her the exact look of the game? Not to mention the fact that she came off as a 3rd rate Street Fighter character.
Also i loved Degeneration. I hope they do another in the CGI format

Being a huge fan of the games, all of these movies were a big disappointment to me....So much wasted potential.

I'm a big fan of the games myself.
The films wasnt what i hoped they would be,
but I really liked the characters in the films
The actress that played Jill Valentine did a great job
and i can't wait what they'll make of Chris Redfield.

I really didn't like what they did with Claire though. It was just kinda blah to be honest. I can't wait for Leon and Chris though. I wonder if Ada Wong is ever gonna make an appearance or Wesker, I don't remember him in any of the movies but then again I haven't seen them in forever
