Default Clowns In Horror movies

Clowns tend to find there way in horror movies (It, Killer Klowns from outer space) . So what movie involving clowns scared you the most. I'd have to say IT's Pennywise Clown because, I couldn't stand by drains for awhile after that movie.

I remember watching a movie when i was a kid that scared the shit out of me. It was about 3 convicts that had escaped from a mental home, i think, and donned some clown paint and terrorised a kid at home with his brother and other lambs for the slaughter. Im sure it was called Clownhouse.

Clownhouse (198 is pretty good on its own merits. But it reaches a whole new level of creepiness when you watch it knowing that the director was sexually molesting the 12 year-old star behind the scenes.

Yeah, I think the same guy directed Jeepers Creepers. Now I can't watch that film anymore without thinking what a monster/douchebag that guy is.

My thoughts exactly. I saw it around the time of it's release, and it creeped me the fuck out. Now, it's creepy for a whole different reason.

What a horrible movie. Bad dialogue, bad acting, bad touching. It just had nothing going for it. The most hilarious moment in the damn thing is when the news report on the escaped convicts can be heard in the background. Their whole motivation for the killing spree was because they'd had their "circus privileges revoked".

I don't get why I ever heard anything good about this movie. The only thing I can think of is that people are looking at it through nostalgia colored glasses.
