Part two is far superior to parts five, seven, and eight, so even though some of the death scenes were cut to an extent, I can still forgive that because the overall movie itself is good. It doesn't have a lot of weak points, whereas seven and eight more specifically have a hell of a lot of flaws, with the major one being acting.

As for Tina, she didn't have to dress skimpy, just less like a nerd. That doesn't mean I think she had to show more skin.

Agreed.
I think that Part 2 is easily one of the strongest of the franchise. I don't mind the kills having been cut, would have been nice with them but it's not a reason to hate on the movie.

My sentiments exactly. I do think part two gets quite a bit of love. The only complaint I've really heard of from fans of the movie is Alice getting killed, which they feel was a cop out considering Jason wouldn't be able to logically find her, and I completely agree with that.

Haha yeah I never even thought about that. Part 2 is definetly one of the better ones. Some shit I wish we could have seen intact like the double impalement death and the machete to the wheelchair bound kid but its one of my personal faves.

I really liked both of those death scenes, especially the double impalement, very original kill for it's time.

I'm watching part three right now, it's another one of the series that I really like. I liked the idea that since Jason lost his potato sack he was maskless throughout the film, but was always in the shadows stalking his eventual prey. Then, the end chase sequence with Dana Kimmel....just awesome.

I like it at the end when she hangs him outside the barn and when she goes to leave he wiggles around and cuts himself free as Kris screams maniacally. Scared me when I was young.
