Default The People Under the Stairs (1991)

I know a lot of people won't like this movie, but I saw it when I was young and I loved it! Anyone else here enjoy it?

I enjoyed it a good bit actually. Honestly, I thought it was a bit too silly for its own good. The characters could have been a bit more serious I suppose. Regardless, I think that overall it's a good film with a truly unique story. I recently bought the double feature of this and "Shocker" for about $10. It was well worth it in my opinion.

S'not a bad piece of work at all... I can recall the trailers as it was shown in theaters. The movie kinda crept me out in those wee years of mine.

Horror-Joe, you're right it was a bit silly, but I agree it was good. I wish I could find the movie on sale somewhere near where I live..

I picked mine up at Wal-Mart in the section with the double features.

I love this movie (one of the few Craven flicks that holds up after time for me) It just shouldn't have been marketed as horror, it's more of an action flick. If they had toned down on the "kink" factor and language they could have had another tween friendly, "Goonies" type classic on their hands.
