Default Flatliners (1990)

Okay, I tried searching, and looked in the Horror Movie Reference List but didn't find a thread for this film anywhere.

Anyways, I just rented this the other day not knowing really what to expect from this movie as the description of the back of the dvd was pretty vague. I finally popped this dvd into the player and I was in for a treat. Okay, you could say there was a little bit of overacting in this movie. All the actor's commenting on how beautiful Julia Roberts is got a little tired, and the medical student's use of CPR is hotly debated on the forums in IMDB.com. But I found this movie to be really entertaining. Anyone else see or like Flatliners?

I own it. A prime resource for anyone who plays Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.

I hated this when it first came out, primarily because I hated all the people involved. I'm still not a fan of most of the actors in this, but I've warmed up to the movie. It is very unrealistic but a lack of reality is not a card played around these parts very often.

"Flatliners"......A sensational dramatic/thriller!! I love it!! Keifer Sutherland and Kevin Bacon deliver terrific performances. This is also one early movie where i think Julia Roberts looks absolutely lovely. She was pretty good. William Baldwin and Oliver Pratt did good in supporting turns. But it is Sutherland who steals the show and has the most effectively creepy "death experience" out of the bunch.Wonderfull screenplay, production, and directing.

8/10

Haven't seen this one for years. I did like it when I saw it but the cast were annoying, especially Julia Roberts. In saying that the only actor I liked was Keifer and his flatline experience.
