So is 'Near Dark', but that doesn't have a novelization either, nor does 'Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer'. I looked up "Southern Comfort" on Amazon, and there was a book by that title published the same year as the movie was released. I have no idea whether or not it's actually a novelization, as I couldn't locate any cover art when searching Google Images, and there weren't any copies for sale on eBay. Couldn't find any information on the plot of the book or its origins either, just the authors and the year of publication. Amazon did not even list the publishing house, which is NOT a normal thing for Amazon! But I did find out the publisher from a different online bookseller. Thanks for the info TJ, I'll have to check and see if that is the SOUTHERN COMFORT movie novel. Yeah that MAD MAX 2 book; my girlfriend went to live & work in Australia for a year and came across a good second-hand copy in a charity shop, she knew it was one of my favourites so she sent it over - it's a good tie-in that even has ten pages of b&w photos. I'm gutted about there being nothing for THE HITCHER and even LEGEND... oh well.
