It's an ok movie, but I don't know why people take its 'commentary' as seriously as they do.

I never could get into Fight Club, I've watched it three times, and each time I just find myself sitting there not enjoying it but not hating it.

This argument only goes so far. If you're 14 and see quite possibly the coolest, anti-authority I don't give a fuck dude ever spouting off half-revolutionary philosophy, you're going to think he's the bomb. Could be Tyler, could be Rambo, same concept.

The real enjoyment comes from realizing it's all hypocritical bullshit and that ultimately it's not real or realistic. It's about men having NO WAY to reclaim the way society wants them to be, not about the one true way, the fight club and project mayhem.

Dog the teens and idiots who miss the point, but please don't think everyone who likes it was beating the shit out of each other in a basement back in '99.
