I read Nome doesn't look anything like the place the movie was shot in. Also, that it is located on a tundra and in fairly close proximity to water. I also heard that the CEO of the Alaska Psychiatric Institute and a president of the Alaska Psychological Association said they had never heard of a Dr. Abigail Tyler, or of her practice. I'm only saying this because I had read it somewhere, and obviously I don't know this information first-hand.

I thought it was a cool movie, It's just that,"Blair Witch, Based on, reality movie theme" brought to the next level. I hope they go hard with it like they did on blair witch with the dvd. I have a Vhs of footage an hour an a half long trying to convince people that the Blair Witch movie was real as the Sun. LOL crazy

Dunno for sure but I'd imagine they got sued for using real newspaper names, had they used fictious newpaper names and angencies, I can't imagine them having a suit against he studio
