I also think it would be interesting for us to find out while Tony Todd (Candy Man) is in fact not Death, but another archetypal figure like The Devil as foreshadowed in part 3.

Saw this movie on opening weekend and loved it. I love Final Destination movies because you just have to sit back, watch, and have an hour and a half of fun - there's no thinking, no nothing - just gore and gore and gore!

Funny, that's not why I like the series, but it's exactly why I hate part 4.

I can honestly say I agree with you like 90%. I think it could have been better in parts. But it was just a "fun" movie. To start I was disappointed they were coming back to the series because honestly I don't think it should have been a series. The first movie was amazing, the cheating death then death coming to find you is a wonderful movie plot. But the same idea over 4 movies. Thats a little much. Although I do love the series because of the gore. My biggest disappointment with the 4th movie was the ending.

Well, they should have stopped at the first one, but of course I had to watch this one because I saw all the others. I liked the pool scene. Dude deserved it. Other than that, it was a mediocre film.

I enjoyed it as I only went in expectin a popcorn flick with death scenes.
While the scenes were not as good as the car pile up in 2 and they used alot of CGI this time, I still enjoyed it. The ending bugged me tho, glad the dvd will have 2 other endings but they said they made 4 diff ones.

Yeah I admit the ending was disappointing.
