Can this even be possible without Tim Curry?

I forgot, the remake was supposed to be a humorous film.

I cant waite for this remake it would be hard to live up to the original, but there's always going to be remakes and re-emagintions of horror movies, and it would be hard to replace Tim Curry but they did with soo many Jason Vorrhees, now Freddy and Myers and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Tim had the creppy smile going though going to be hard to beat that. I dont see why they cant use him again, i know hes alot older but thats what make up is for.

Is this really going to happen? It seems like I first heard about it years ago, and nothing really solid has happened since. The book is phenomenal, and there's definitely more they could explore there even though it has to be R-rated.

I don't see anything about this on IMDB. Is this still going to be made? If so I would like to check it out. It would be worth the watch. Even if it sucks balls.

Might I suggest using a melon baller?

I concur. Pennywise does employ some prop comedy. This remake was originally slated to be a SciFi channel movie.

I hope this remake explores both of Pennywise's sides. I want the comedic side to stay in tact, but I'd also love to see him get really dark and evil in some scenes. Hopefully this will deliver. Since it isn't with PD it should be hard to fail.
