About Me

I'm a 30 year-old creative writer who works with others in the entertainment industry to promote film and music. I'm also a substitute librarian because...well, I just enjoy the work.

Music

I like rock music: classic and current--but I'm talking rock here and not metal--and certainly not what was called Nu Metal. Think Alice in Chains, Guns N' Roses (original lineup), Metallica. Silvertide, etc.

Movies

First and foremost: horror. I like all the classics (Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby) but also tend to lean to the low budget and obscure. I loathe the term "torture porn." It's just irritating.

Books

Pretty much anything by Brian Keene. If you're a horror fan and not reading his work, you're doing yourself a disservice. I'm also a fan of F. Paul Wilson and Lee Child.

TV

Don't watch much TV, but I'd have to go with Castle, Dexter, True Blood and most importantly Fringe.
