About Me

I love horror movies in general, obviously, but my favorites are mostly 70's and 80's slashers. Gotta love them Halloween rip-offs, you know? I also love the newer stuff, and find remakes to be very interesting... all of the bitching over them is really ridiculous. Also, I take a lot of crap for this but I really do love 'Dead Silence'. I'm not a fan of the Saw series, but Dead Silence was just amazing, and it managed a better atmosphere than 90% of horror movies ever... so sue me. I also enjoy reading and writing screenplays, as well as making Custom DVD Covers and Fan Posters for upcoming and/or already released movies. Well, that's about it. I'm not too complex.

Music

Evanescence! They are my obsession. I also like Paramore, OneRepublic, Leona Lewis... almost anything. I love all genres with the exception of the "teen pop" genre (although I'll admit, no one does it better than the Spice Girls!) and country/western type music. It's all twangy and it all sounds the same... though, arguably, so do Evanescence and any other emo-rock band.

Movies

Horror is my one and only love. I enjoy most horror movies, though Asian horror just never really caught on with me. I'm not a fan. Also, the torture genre isn't so great, but I refuse to call it 'torture porn'. That phrase is for complete idiots. However, I'll admit to having a strong liking for the Hostel series...

Books

I'm not a huge reader, but one book that I really enjoyed was The Ruins by Scott Smith... obviously, the one that movie is based upon. The movie did it justice very nicely, for the record.

TV

American Idol. I don't watch much TV other than that... just reruns on Nick @ Nite and the like.
