The background was just there to fill up white space on bigger resolutions. It'll be mostly cut out on the smaller ones. I'll check out using a css tag for it though. Did you like the set up?

Yar...checked it out. Have you thought about using a ccs tag for the background. That way it'll stay with the page with no shifting no matter what size screen it's viewed on. It also mean you can set it up at a higher res with no repeat and all that.

Yeah, I was gonna do some flash on the comic carnival one but as of now Im doing the base site just for the recommendation. My buddy is the manager and they badly needed an update. I still need to set up a site of my own.

I just sent you the comic carnival one. Ive opened it on two computers fine but last night it wouldnt load the background cause it said it was corrupt. but that may have been some Vista fuckery. also if you have a large resolution the background will repeat. I havent fixed that cause its just used to give them an idea of what the site will look like. And the upper corner is blank because thats where the newsletter sign up form will go.

I charge on average $500 and then $30 and hour for any updates. The Sticky one I do for beers for my buddy. I've done some pretty cool little Flash sites and such but updating them is a pain and for some people the download can take ages. I've also learnt that keep a site simple yet informative is the best way. Keen to check out the comic sites you've done....I'd love to do one of those.
