Definitely the best trilogy, yeah ok 3 wasnt the best, I did actually like the story line but absolutely hated how they basically mocked the series and all other horror films, way too much comedy and not enough scares. Real pity that Kevin didnt write it I say

Alright I really enjoyed the first sceam it was incredible. the ideas and the really good acting along with a good twist at the end. It was really good and will always be good. Now for the rest in this trilogy they are no where near as good. The movie went from a good movie to a copy of the one before and a new invention on the partners in crime. They are good but not after scream they are very predictable. Other than that the movies are good and the second two bring down my score.

One of the best horror trilogies of all time. These were the films that got me into slasher films and actually horror movies. I loved the whole trilogy.

Ah Scream, a trilogy of slasher flicks that are now a guilty pleasure for the modern day horror fan. Let me start by saying, Scream was one of the movies that got me to really notice horror films ((I'm young, get over it)) But since this review is about all three of them, I'll break this down to each film.

Scream: The godfather of the 90's slasher craze in my opinion. Not only did this film had a clever script with witty dialogue, it had impressive plot twists. The beginning of the film still shines as a great piece of horror, No one expected a huge actress to be attacked and killed in such a way, it left it's lasting effects on the audience. The characters were well written, and the performances were spot on. Scream is one of those movies, pop it in, I'll sit and watch it anytime.

Scream 2: A true sequel. It played its cards well. First, the cast returned, something you really don't see much in horror. More great performances and clever writing, using the ploy of a sequel as its guide. The character of Cotton made the plotline seem even more fascinating. Was very impressed, and this trilogy is going well so far....

Scream 3: The red headed step child of the series and a crushing blow to Scream fans. I found the plotline to be horrendously boring, every so-called scare was obvious, repeating what the previous two had done really. It was childish, and just awfully paced. I like to ignore its existence actually.

If you're looking for a fun series to watch in one sitting, or just want to watch a classic, The Scream trilogy might just be what you're looking for.

All three movies are amazing. These movies are the movies that brought me into slasher/horrors in the first place.
Although it declines in each sequel, all three are perfect additions to any horror fans collecetion. It is basically about a killer stalking young Sidney Prescott, and brutally murdering, and attempting to murder, her freinds.
