This was an intriguing effort that has two strong performances from the leading men, with an atmospheric, raw look to it all and had at least two memorable moments. I thought it was too slow though with not much action or thrills and the script was lousy and it was too similar to Deliverance but not as climatic and some of it was unexplainable. Overall it could have been much better with a greater script and more action and spooks. Decent watch if you have nothing better to watch and if you're a fan of backwoods thrillers, if not you're not missing out.

Okay, this is about the little girl they find right? Ehem, when those guys come to the house, they stop focussing on the little girl's stroy and thus the movie takes a strange turn. And not a good one either. There was a promising first 10 minutes and the acting is good, with a storyline with potential. But after they actually come across this girl, the story becomes akward, very confusing, and all in all a fail. See for yourself, things don't feel right here. Well at least it's not a remake.

This film was not very well done. I have always liked Gary Oldman and he is a terrific actor. But, Gary is just too good for this film. The rest of the acting is awful at best and the plot just didn't fall together at all. The relationship between them all was never explained. Note to the film makers, when doing any kind of character study let the audience know something about the characters! This was a complete waste of time. 1/10

While I found Tex Massacre's review enlightening, I did not see this movie the same way. To me it was boring, drawn out, at not a horror film at all. It's saving grace was its cast...Oldham in particular is always a pleasure to watch.

I thought this was a great flick. One of the better movies I've seen as of late, and if you look around the net for other reviews you'll see that I'm not alone.

This review was wayyyyyy off, and frankly, I'm perplexed.

I have to disagree slight with BD's reviews. As a fan of genre cinema I love revenge pictures and this one is formula but its still running an a lister with a great produciton company. Filmax International and Fantastic Factory don't make great films but they are always fun. Check out Dagon and the ultimate film: the machinist. I have to say its worth watching especially if you driven by a good story more than mindless blood. Little blood but good acting. Its worth renting but I would put it as a low priority.
