Some of the scenes were unintentionally hilarious. Especially one involving a frightened rapist. There was only one good scene here that involved an elevator...yes, another elevator scene. Still, the biggest problem was that the ghosts presented no threat whatsoever. That's what made the ring and grudge films suspenseful and scary, is that they presented a threat to your life. Here, the're just there. Let them be. It's not worth freaking out for. They won't do anything.
Nothing to do with the first one, but it's all good. This still manages to be creepy as hell and the climax is damn disturbing. Too bad the American box art is so gay.

A truly eerie and unnerving sequel to an already creepy film. The Pang Brothers have certainly took it up a notch. Shu Qi proved once again she's not just a pretty face, and added a lot of weight and turmoil to her troubled character. Definitely worth checking out, as it actually exceeds the original in terms of shocks and haunting visuals.

Creepy as hell, especially when the bodies kept falling from the sky.
