A great serial killer mistery, great acting and an origianl story

When I think of this film, which is one of my most favorite psychological films I think of Kevin Spacey and his should have one an Oscar role. He went to a very dark place and made us hate him for it, especially at the bitter end.
Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt were stellar as partners trying to solve this serial killers clues.
I highly recommend this film and is truly disturbing in its graphics, but I could not look away, not even for a second for fear of missing any detail or clue.

Sorry but horrorking95 has to be retarded.
The only thing right in his review is that Se7en is not a horror movie but a thriller (no sh*t sherlock!)
This movie IS AMAZING from start to finish, from the script to the cinematography, from the cast to the acting. Plain & simple a flawless movie and the best thriller out there with The Silence Of The Lambs.
I expected more. Way more! Zog71 I was dissapointed. It was quite slow, it's OK, it's not amazing and it's not scary or anything like that, I wouldn't call this a horror I'd call it a thriller. Oh, and as for the "shock twist ending" there wasn't one! What was the twist? I did not see a twist in there. Could someone please tell me what the twist was because I must have missed it!
I keep saying that i am not a Brad Pitt fan, but yet he pulls off two of the best performances in two of my favorite movies. Fight Club being one, and Seven being the other. I love this film because the tone is so tense. Spacey's character is so methodical that it gives me the chills everytime I watch this movie, and I have seen it several times. One the best thrillers I have ever seen in my opinion. If you haven't seen this film go out and rent it, you will not be disappointed. By the way this is the film that made me notice David Fincher, and for the most part he has done very good with his films, including Fight Club.
A personally favorite I saw in the theater as a kid with my younger brother... This movie is UNREAL, the story is untouchable, a phonemonal CAST, and is a pure mind fuck that defines the deadly sins before your eyes... Spacy is bringin a cold, brutal presense to the screen in way he never has, this movie is something everyone should see and anyone who hasn't has missed out a historical horror/thriller movie...
One of the best movies of all time, a tale of redemption and psychosis that will leave you shocked in its wake. With Superb performances and an incredible cast. This is truly a marvel of Cinema.

Best serial killer movie EVER! I've seen it at least a half a dozen times and it only gets better. The whole plot and execution behind the murders was brilliant. Pitt, Freeman and Spacey were amazing. The cinimatography was revolutionary. The score, amazing! To even mention it in the same review as Silent Night, Deadly Night and Silent Hill is insulting. This is a well thought out, crafted and produced movie, not popcorn crap for bored teens. And believe it or not, this movie was filmed in L.A.!
Very good movie. Some wonderfully disturbing imagery (sloth always gets to me). Kevin Spacy was great. More than anything, I REALLY appreciate that the ending didn't pull any punches.

Seven is one of the best thrillers I have ever seen. The acting was just awesome, i'm not a big fan of brad pitt but in this movie he was outstanding and this movie was probably what rocketed his career. In morgan freeman's case, he is just a brilliant actor no matter what movie he is in. The script and dialogue was well written and very clever. It kept you entertained throughout the whole movie. The other really good aspect about this movie was you only saw the aftermath of the killings. That was very, very good they would have ruined it by showing the kills on screen. The kills were also well thought up and very inventive and clever. This movie inspired saw and the condemned: criminal origins video game. The ending was just epic, really unexpecting and catches you off guard. The whole time I was wondering whats in the damn box and when you finally find out it was just amazing. One of the best sick twists ever. The whole movie has a gritty and disturbing feel too it and alot of the deaths only able to see the aftermath were still extremely brutal. Overall I give seven a 10/10 which it well deserves.
One of the best thrillers ever made. Great atmosphere, brilliant script and fantastic direction. Most of the kills happen off screen but the power of suggestion and the fact this movie makes you use your own imagination is fantastic. The ending is tragic , bleak and disturbing and one of the best ever seen in a mainstream film. Flawless on all levels.

This movie is great. Great premise and strong cast make this a perfect movie to see. This is by far brad pits best role to date. When you think you have it all figured out toward the end. Think again. This movie has a great surprise ending..

not to many movies can pull off with success, a movie about a mostly unseen villian who you dont even see kill anybody and have it be so tense, interesting and overall a great story. this movie will stick in your mind most definatly.

This movie has become one of my favorites. The cast was great, the acting was wonderful, and of course the plot was brilliant. The suspense from the whole movie kept me wondering what the hell was going to happen next. And the ending was a super shocker, which was what I loved. Sad, but mind-blowing. I really loved it.
BRILLANT....All is perfect, the script, the casting, the acting, the picture, the vibe, the music, the killer...
Best thriller ever and one of the best movies i've ever seen...15/10
