Home Depot‘s massive 12-foot-tall skeleton decoration went viral back in 2020 and has returned with fresh new upgrades every year since. This year, the 12-foot Skelly gets a voice!
Two different versions of the 12-foot Skelly decoration are up for grabs this year, with the standard version selling for $299 and the app-controlled talking version going for $379.
Home Depot previews the brand new talking version, “The 12 ft. Giant-Sized Animated LED App Controlled Skelly with LifeEyes LCD Eyes leads with interactive smart features with its 12 ft. skeletal presence. Skelly has 20 different customizable LCD LifeEyes™ effects, all easily managed directly through the Decor Pro app.
“App Enabled Skelly has 2 movements: a realistic head movement and an animated mouth that moves with your chosen audio. Take full control of the scares by using the app to record and store up to 30 custom sounds, or speak directly through the figure in ‘live’ mode utilizing built-in voice-changing effects to terrify your guests.”
While it may not be equipped with a voice box, this year’s $299 version of Skelly is no slouch either. He features poseable arms and LCD LifeEyes™ that move and blink, and includes 8 eye effects: Blue Human, Hazel Human, Stars, Hearts, Fireworks, Flames, Dragons and Swirls.

The Giant Mummy unearths scare leading with glowing LED lights that illuminate his eyes and decayed chest. This undead mummy features poseable shoulders that allow you to customize his reaching posture, along with included cloth strips that provide a customizable, weathered touch. Activated by motion sensor, he awakens from his tomb with 3 separate sounds.
The full Halloween 2026 lineup is now available for purchase on Home Depot’s website, and you can expect to see 12-foot Skelly and all his new friends in stores this coming Fall.
