One of the first few remakes that hit it off, Ryan Reynolds is great in this film, without him this movie probably would have sucked. Recommended.

I'm in amityville right now, ive been to that house mad times, they changed the windows, but its still cool to go over there. This was so much better than the boring ass original.

One of my favorite remakes after Halloween and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Far superior to the original.

Interestingly cast with Ryan Reynolds playing the role that James Brolin originated, it's hard to buy Reynolds as a mean vicious person, perhaps he can play that great some day, but im not seeing that here, althought i didnt mind this movie that much, i was hoping for more harder punch with better scares.

Umm it had good actors and I think they did the best the could. i mean as a remake u have to work with the original and i think that one sucked so i mean it was ok.

Even Ryan Rhynold's buffness wasn't enough to save this horrible film. It was like taking a dump on the original.

The greatest ghost/horror/remake movie ive ever seen because of its scary shitting pants scenes,good acting,good story and a creppy looking house.
