Just didn't interest me and after watching the film twice (I fel asleep the first time)I wasn't that eager to watch Daywatch. I evenually did but didn't get all the way through as I turned it off half way.
Although the ratings here are not that low, Night Watch is an underrated movie. You can't get any more original than this. The problem with the people who hate this is that they were just expecting non-stop actions. Actions scenes were very limited, but the plot is fat and the movie really requires more than one viewing to appreciate it.
My first viewing of it left me in a state of confusion. But after my second viewing, I understood the conflict between the Light Others and Dark Others. I hate fantasy films, but this one got my attention. One must live in the world of the Others to feel their emotions.
Night Watch is a special film and it requires great patience and an active mind.

I could have really enjoyed it, if it wasn't for the impossibly vast storyline. Way too much to take in and follow.
Don't miss out on this movie. It is a russian movie so it is dubbed. Not an issue. After a minute you won't even notice. Really well done in the matter. The acting is ok but the story will blow you away. If you like constantine but thought it was all effects and very little story then you will love this. Worth watching and rewatching. There is so much going on in the film.
