Amid a constant June downpour in an anonymous Japanese megalopolis; a
crisis snakes into the lives of Rinko, a reserved career woman in her
thirties, and Shigehiko, her obsessively clean workaholic husband. It
creeps into their souls in the form of a strange envelope, which bears
the inscription, 'Your Husband's Secrets', and contains photos of Rinko
masturbating. A mysterious phone call accompanies the envelope, but the male voice does not demand money. Instead, it asks Rinko to put on a very short mini skirt and purchase a vibrator then, guides her through the rainy city to act out her fantasies.
