I actually really enjoyed this film, it didn't get boring and the story was fantastic. I don't understand why people hate this so much! I could understand the film just fine and had no problem following it, you just have to concentrate because it's not in chronological order.
Overall it was a great thick and fast revenge story!
i thought it was okay a good revenge movie not a particularly great horror movie mind you thought...but yeah is perfectly enjoyable not very memorable and not really likely to change your universe but is just okay nothing more nothing less

I dug this movie, and definitely agree with the B-movie comment. To be sure, there is practically no real action. Nothing in the movie really gets out of control, but I think it's better for the handful of good moments in it than for what it is as a film over all. Lucy Liu plays an amazing victim. She's actually much better at being victimized than being vengeful, I think.

This asks the question I have been wondering for the last decade "What is it with geeky guys and goth chicks?"
More a dark cop drama then a horror, borrowing actors from night time television as the main cast.
I did a double take with the scene in the bar, didn't realize it was Manson out of make up.
Looking forward to the next two chapters in this trilogy.
Ok I've seen this movie more then once so I can judge it.
And after three times I still don't get this movie. Iknow what it say it's about but in film it's aweful.
I have seen my fair share of hoor blunders but this one is just retarded.
Lucy Liu can do much better then this pice of celluloid.
The directing was confusing to say the least, the acting was bad and phoned in, and the vampire thing was just STUPID.
I'm glad I downloaded it cause if I had pais to see THIS I'd be kicking someones ass.
I had really wanted to see this one and was so disapointed I really don't recomend this movie to anyone.
It was so bad I through up a little in my mouth while watching it.. I'm not joking at all. It's pure shit.
I give RISE 1 confusing so-called vampire movie out of 10 confusing so-called vampire movies.
