HUGE LETDOWN. How was this supposd to be scary? It was boring and i didnt jump once, didnt get shocked once, the story was BORING, and everything about it let me down.

This is probably the most coherent Japanese film I've seen. The plot is very straight-forward as the summary describes, a man fruitlessly fights destiny to save his daughter whose death he forsees. He struggles to understand why despite his ability to foresee the future his efforts are in vain and eventually accepts it. In the process of course there's the traditional creepy Japanese horror scenes.
