Was good in places, but it had very annoying dialogue. Angelina, Ray, Anthony and John were all horridly mechanic in voicing the characters, none of whom are worth caring for. Good thing the setting and the dragon scenes were strong enough to save a flawed mainstream movie.

I thought this movie was cool. But it wasn't as epic as i expected.

I'm going to have to second that. This was the only story that I enjoyed being forced to read when I was in school and somehow it became this convoluted mess. I don't really understand why they are trying to make Ray Winstone look like Michael Bean (why not just do this live action) or why the characters have to look creepily real. The 3-D was astounding, but that didn't change the fact that I was bored most of the time.

Not as good as I had hoped the animation is to choppy.

Not as epic and meaningful as I was hoping, and I didnt see enough of Grendal as I had hoped, yeah I know he dies and such but it doesnt mean the beginning couldnt have been alot longer and more meaningful, i felt the pace of the movie was to quick and rushed than necessary overall a fun film but nothing great and epic as it could have been.

First of all why is Beowulf considered a horror flick on this site? Anyway, Beowulf is a fun, gory flick that is well done. There is a bunch of violence and hot chicks to make this film fun. Overall, Beowulf is a fun action flick that pretty decent and is surrounded in buckets of blood.

This movie I thougt was gonna suck and I didnt even bother seeing it in theaters. But then the Unrated edition came out and I was like ok Ill watch it. This movie was so badass I loved everything about it. I also was surprised by the gore that was in it. Great movie and you should check it out.
