This movie was just awful. The acting and just plan killing just bored me. One of the worst films ever made!

Well. Who knew that my trip to the video store would end in such a disappointment. I wanted something that was actually going to strike fear in me, make me afraid of what I feared (and that was clowns), Fear of Clowns was not that movie. My fear was whether or not I was going to let me sit through it all without finding something better to do. Now on to the gritty stuff. I really thought wrong about this movie. I figured with the name it was given, Fear of Clowns would terrify me in my sleep. Instead it almost put me to sleep, between long dragged out scenes, most of which were unnecessary, bad acting and a clown that just wasn't so terrifying. The only I think that was good about this movie was the ending because it was unnerving and left you wanting just a tad more. Other than that this movie isn't recemended by me and low budget films just shouldn't have this sort of hype. But the thing that really made me hate this movie was the acting. I mean, if I was a helpless naked girl about to die from a clown I would be screaming, kicking, doing what I can to survive...not stand there saying "Are you gonna kill me? I've been standing here for five minutes alive. What's your deal?" If only the characters were actually scared of the killer, then I would've been convinced. But, this was a hit and miss sort of movie and it missed. Big time.

Some nice imagry. Buffest clown I've ever scene, reason for killing was weak. This movie seemed to have potential but filled the plot with useless things. Acting was bad but what do you expect? Lots of poor too quick shots (especially at the beginning) where you try to read something and the camera moves away.

Great potential but it just ended up sucking like all these other low low budget slasher films.
