definetely not better than the original, everyone's crazy, especially the ending when the girl finally kills Chop Top and starts doing the Crazy Dance wielding the chainsaw over her head. what was her problem?
Obviously not better than the original, but it was a completely different mood and tone than the original. Its not dark, gritty, discomforting. Rather its colorful, gory, and a little fast-paced. My favorite character of the film has to be chop top, Bill Moseley is hilarious as chop top. If your a fan of the TCM series you definitely have to check this out.
Awesome sequel. Better than the original, in the sense that it's actually actually demented and disturbing whilst the first was only remotely creepy.
You've got Bill Moseley in his prime here. I know there are a lot of folks who jumped on the House of 1000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects bandwagon, but this is the sort of shit that'll make you drop down on your knees and say "holy fucking shit, what a sick asshole".
It's a bit cheesy here and there though, especially if it's a scene involving Dennis Hopper, but cheese and horror go hand in hand for the most part and this is no exception.
Too bad the other 2 sequels aren't even half as good.
A little silly, but this still was one bad ass sequel to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Also I became a huge fan of Bill Moseley after this film was over.
A Good Mixture Of Blood,Guts, Chainsaws And Comedy. Easly Can Be Considered As The Best In The Franchise. All Actors Portrayed There Role Correctly So It All Fits Into A Big Ball Of Fun.
The best of the Chainsaw sequels. I first saw this one when I was 12, & fucking loved it!!! It's been a fav of mine ever sense. "The saw is family". Grab some p-corn & check it out!!!

I absolutely love this movie! The main chick... holy hell she must have some strong lungs. Non-stop action man. Texas chainsaw massacre never fails. Original movie all over. Nobody can ever top this one even though it's old. some parts were pretty funny too.

I LOVE this film, it's black sense of humor is so wonderful and great that I prefer this film over the original and any after it as well, this is my favorite TCM film to date and I dont think anybody will ever top it's look and feel and sense of humor and one of the most important things to me was the performances by jim siedow and bill moseley, this has to be one of the most underated horror films of all time, although i think it's been slowly getting more cult following fans over the years as it's deserved but not all horror movies have to take itself so damn seriously and this one doesnt. BUT I wonder could this film have been made this way without the original TCM?....I dont think so.

Horrible film why turn it into a comedy we just watched one of the greatest horrors ever and when were waiting for a sequel they give us this. Major disappointment horrible film.

Not a bad sequel-Leatherface is not at all scary in this,just evokes pity as he seems to be the blundering lovesick fool here,Jim Siedow & Bill Moseley really stole the whole show!Top marks to the out & out freakiness but this film lacks the capacity to really shock & shiver. Still it's entertaining.
What the hell did I jsut watch? Someone said it was along the same lines as the original, but it's nothing close. It's more of a bizarre comedy than horror. Which MUST be what the director was going for.
I did really enjoy it for what it was though. And Bill Mosely is always the fuckin' man.
Don't expect to be scared, but you'll be fully entertained by this crazy ass sequel.
