Much of a crime story than horror. It should of got a theatrical release. Throughout the movie its sex drugs and fun. Not much killing. But at the end, the killer gather his victoms and shoots who ever gets in his way. It was a good crime movie.
This movie is freaking awesome I encourage everyone to watch it. This movie was as solid as they come. It is am wicked villain movie. Thats what I look at this movie and think. Its a villian movie. A kid who just got out of school with a imbalence taking peoples lives becouse they want nothing to do with him. Ray is the best thing since Patrick Bateman
I don't read too well or at all, so I'm glad that they're making Ketchum's novels into movies lately. This is another pretty good one and again a little twisted.
Such a great movie. The movie really showed how crazy Ray really is. A great movie. I loved the characters in this movie. Such a great satisfaction at the end.
I just finished watching this movie and i'm thinking to myself if i would have watched the first 10 minutes and the last 20 i would be happy. You can throw the middle out and all the characters with it. This is not a typical horror movie. Watch this when you have nothing else to do.
This actually is a very good movie. It keeps you entertained from beginning to end. It's too bad it didn't get a theatrical release because it should have gotten at least a limited release. Don't miss this one on DVD though.
Outstanding! I watched this twice when I rented it and enjoyed every moment as it keeps you completely engaged throughout. The character development, acting, and pace were dead on. Do not pass on watching this movie....I hope to see much more from director Chris Sivertson. Total recommendation for all to see this movie!
The Lost is one of the most faithful adaptations of a book to the screen. Ketchum has been captured onscreen almost perfectly. First time director Chris Sivertson shows that he knows exactly what he's doing behind the camera. (even though he directed the less than stellar I Know Who Killed Me as his follow up) This film is brutal and intense but not in a overtly graphic way. It's all tone and build up to a climax that will have you one the edge of your seat. Ray Pye is ready to explode and its damn exciting watching him about to lose it. The acting is pretty solid throughout the film especially by Marc Sentor who plays Ray Pye. People looking for a more fast paced film will be disappointed as this film takes its time and focuses more in the characters and tone rather than the blood and gets but if you stay along for the ride you will be more than likely be pleased with the results.
