This movie is very overrated. You don't see the monsters very much and the acting pretty much sucks, as does the story. The only funny part is when a monster's dick gets chopped off and stomped on. I had higher expectations.
I watched this movie with great expectations. I was wondering what would happen when Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Wes Craven produce a horror movie. But in the end, I wasn't that amazed as I thought I would. The plot is actually very funny, but you barely see a single fighting scene because of the unsteady camera movement (like Cloverfield). They had one or two funny jokes, but summarized...after an hour you have enough of it.

Found this Gem Today at Wally World $5.00! What a Great Surprise Scary and Funny! Great Monsters Great Acting! Very Good Movie!
Great and entertaining flick.Loved it! Blood & guts and some great comical scenes.I liked them weird lookin monsters too, real bad-asses.Cant wait for the sequel.
From start to finish, this movie was a cartoon. It was like watching an episode of “Courage the Cowardly Dog” or the Halloween episodes of all the other Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon regulars. But it was live action, without toning down any of the gory moments for children, and that made it amazing!
This is a sad day in all movie genres. Originality is dead. People hail movies like The Descent and The Mist, ignoring the fact 95% of the movies could have been copy/pasted from the last monster movie that held its run. The fact that this movie takes those retarded clichés and actually laughs in their face, I can’t help but enjoy it. People sit around and say, “Oh, it’s not original, but what is anymore?” instead of taking a risk and making something that IS original. This is the exact reason I would go for a video game over a movie—games like No More Heroes, Killer 7, and MadWorld *are* taking chances and making original entertainment, while movies aren’t. And won’t.
Feast isn’t original, but it challenges moviemakers to be original by making fun of them. Contrary to the countless “gory” movies like 30 Days of Night, the makers of Feast honestly have balls because they do what the others don’t: be different.
That’s not saying this movie is gory; it really isn’t. It’s pretty genetic and family friendly. I’d be hard-pressed to say the gore in this movie is much more over-the-top than the new Indiana Jones movie. Simply put, the gore is more than most movies, but it’s so generic it really isn’t that gory.
That’s the only complaint I have. The rest is cartoony, arthouse fun.
Really good. Simple, yet elegantly constructed. Very fast paced. The gore and action scenec pull no punches and really are almost back to back seperated by some good comedy. Beer guy's Theory of what is happening is a movie highlight. ("I think were gonna be okay, guys. Yeah, I think were gonna be alright. You know, this is just some leaky barrel, radiation, toxic dump waste, enviro-crap, freak-beast accident that crawled out of the sewer, man. That's all this is.")
Very entertaining.
This is the first time a movie has actually made me nauseous, I seriously thought I was going to puke a few times, it was great.
If you have an open mind about quirky horror comedies (Evil Dead, Slither, Bad Taste) you'll love this one.
Great movie for anybody who's in the mood for something kickass that they can have fun with. It's covered in satire and gore, plus the mosters are some of the coolest things I've seen in a movie. I loved it!
I was lucky to come across a copy of this Gem of a horror movie last October. This is a film thats hard to fault, and I understand there are 2 sequals in the wings. Matt & Ben's old Chum Jason Mews(Jay of jay&silent bob fame), also has a cameo roll in what is destined to be a horror classic, YOU GOTTA SEE THIS.
This Is one of my favorite creature features. Sure, it was completely ridiculous and out-landish, but it was so much fun. They made it a little bit comic at times, but that is not able to cancel out the ridiculous amount of gore in it. Even though it was both gorey and a little funny, it was still pretty good, and is worth seeing, considering it is pretty much the only Project Greenlight film to have hit theaters.

A Decent film. It has a lot of potential and funny as hell at times.
I personally did not care for this film. It was just goofy. It was not a good creature film and for some odd reason i felt that it was like watching tremors just with a different creature. Same feel to the film.
