This movie could have been good but there was only one BIG problem, UWE BOLL!!!!!I swear this fuckin guy has to be the worst director in the history of directors!! I can't get over how much his movies just suck and I don't know why actors keep taking parts in his movies when they know its gonna be a huge steaming pile of shit!!A wasted opportunity to make a good movie, what a shame.
unbelievably god awful, and i thought i'd seen some bad vampire movies but for me this is somewhere near the top. So many things bugged the hell out of me, the skimpy costumes (yeah very authentic for 18th century romania) the terrible acting michael madsen and michelle rodriquez here, the effects where just so bad there were no words. The random pointless sex scene that just reminded me of showgirls. There are whole sections of the plot that just make no sense what so ever and there are whole charachters that are just totally uncessary and felt like they had been added so they could cast a particular name in mind (billy zane) that would sell the movie more. For me the ONLY redeeming feature and the only reason i gave this movie a 2 instead of 1 out of 10, is the copius amounts of gore and blood involved in kristianna lokens rages she keeps experiencing.
so to sum up, the Ed Wood of our generation strikes again.
