Another boring, shitty PG-13 horror movie that I turned off halfway through because I could no longer stand it. Avoid like the plague.

Kripke is a genius, he gave us Supernatural, after all. You can see he WANTED Boogeyman to work, he tried creating a scary monster that is made by childrens' fear, so I can forgive him for this little indiscretion. I blame Stephen Kay.

omg! i rented this movie one night,but i didnt get to see it i fell asleep when it started.
Why in the world would anyone watch this?
What is wrong with cinema?
I couldn't finish the movie on one sitting.
I had to stop the DVD, recover for a week, and watch the last half hoping for something great. NOTHING
Ok, listen up. This is scary, don't get me wrong, but is lame at the same time. The plot is very predictable, the acting is outragous and the "boogeyman" sucks. It does have a few scares, but few that they are come rarely. Infact, that's all I am going to say. This is a massive let down, and a massive waste of your and my money!
a really great story, original, creepy, complex. Only problem (and the reason why those here don't like it) is that it was not a horror, it was more a ghost story, but damn near the best ghost story I've watched. Very emotional and a little too deep for the gore fans.
Honestly, When This Movie First Came Out On Dvd I Bought It Thinking It Was Gunna Be A Really Interesting Movie But Not Scary At All.
Well I Watched It...And Then I Threw It In The Trash & NEVER Watched It Again.
Nope, Not Because It Was A Bad Movie..But Because Saddly...It Scared The Crap Outa Me! OMG! It's Like One Of The VERY FEW Horror Movies To Scare Me.(The Grudge is the only other one to scare me)
A friend actually gave me this movie and said that I could keep it. As soon as I watched it I realized why he gave it to me. This movie was one of the worst I have ever seen.

Boogeyman just sucks. It isn't scary, it isn't funny, and the acting is just stale. The movie has it's moments but that's it. This movie was such a disgrace. I don't remember it that much to give a full review like I usually do but I remember that Boogeyman wasn't really that good and just another PG-13 horror flick to make a quick buck.
