How awesome is Jennifer Tilly?? Well I am about to tell you.
Mocking her own celebrity self, persona, and lifestyle while at the same time doing the voice over for Tiffany, the killer wife doll of Chucky; Jennifer Tilly marches through "Seed of Chucky" headstrong, confident, and absolutely hilarious.
Jennifer turns "Seed of Chucky" into one hell of a parody and a good time. How refreshing to see such a talented actress take on a role that she is clearly having fun with, and not taking herself or her career so damn seriously; like most other actresses out there are doing these days.
Its a wonderful and wise choice of Jennifer-and "Seed of Chucky" will no doubt reach cult status in time to come.
This movie has great cameos from Redman and especially John Waters as a crazed papparazzi photographer. The script is absolutely hilarious. The acting is also great as well. Visuals, and gore are also all there--in one nicely wrapped up package.
Check this movie out is all I can say. It's a great twist on the Chucky genre and the best of the series since Part 1. I hesitated to watch this movie out of fear that it would just be too dumb. On the contrary, the movie proved to be quite smart and more intelligent than I thought possible.
There is so much going on in "Seed of Chucky" that I dare not try to summarize the plot in this review.
Just go get it...and have yourself some fun! Highly Recommended!

weakest of the chucky films shows that too much comedy in a horror movie isnt always great, the child idea wasnt bad, but the voice of glen and the character himself is kinda silly. this film has you begging to bring me the old style of the first three.
After 4 Chucky films Chucky's back. Honestly if you were a fan of Child's play and disliked the sequels than Seed of Chucky really isn't your film. I admit the film had its moments of humor and I liked that the killer doll returned, but when you see this movie it's like it falls flat. Child's play was a fantastic film because it was scary and first introduced you to this killer doll. After that the films weren't scary and the jokes weren't that funny. I admit it's not terrible and is actually okay but it wasn't what I was looking for.
I wanted to like this, but for some reason I just wasn't feeling the old magic. The jokes fall kind of flat, and the whole thing seems to be a little too concerned with making 'clever' Hollywood jokes rather than telling a good story. Brad Dourif is still awesome, so I'll still own it; but this is my least favorite of the series.
