despite the noticable mistakes, this was a terrific movie. i guess everyone likes Ed Wood's movies for their flaws, especially with these spaceships.
you can see the string that holds them up, the ships look like hubcaps, they wobble when they fly through the air and they even cast shadows on cardboard backdrops.
and the way the grass carpet is moved and the graves are knocked down when the police fall over after being slapped by the zombies (WTF?).
I hate ed wood but this was so bad its good. When the ufo comes you can see the string.

the first film of all time that was known for being "so bad its good", and boy is it. ridiculous plot, stupid characters, horrid special effects, and, bela lugosi alive for only half the shoot and his character is played mostly by the crews chiropracter covering his face with a cape trying to be lugosi? whats not to love? terrible, but excellent. ed wood was a great bad director.
