‘The Purge: Dangerous Waters’ Returns to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood

Published

The Purge

Laws won’t save you this year at Universal Studios Hollywood, not with the return of fiery stunt show The Purge: Dangerous Waters.

It’s the fourth year for this stunt spectacular, themed around the Blumhouse horror franchise, which made its debut at the seasonal event in 2023.

The show centers around a race against time when a politician and his entourage escape to an island to avoid The Purge. Sanctuary is fleeting when the island is quickly overrun by Purgers and the hunt is on. Located in the WaterWorld venue and featuring adrenaline-filled action sequences, stunts, spectacular lighting and laser effects, high-fall fire burns and massive explosions, The Purge: Dangerous Waters celebrates an evening of anarchy without thought of punishment or fear of retribution.

The announcements for Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights are still being rolled out, including this year’s Terror Tram and original houses.

A variety of Halloween Horror Nights ticket options for Universal Studios Hollywood are now available.

This year’s event runs for a record 42 nights with 8 haunted houses, Terror Tram, multiple scare zones and more. Tickets include General Admission, the Early Access Ticket, which provides entry to select haunted houses beginning at 5:30 p.m. (subject to change), Frequent Fear Pass and Ultimate Fear Pass, which enable guests to experience the scares again and again. The Day/Night Ticket, After 2 P.M. Day/Night Ticket, Universal Express Ticket and R.I.P Tour will all include access to the newFast & Furious: Hollywood Driftcoaster.
