The first time i saw this movie was in High school but now after watching it again, I must admit its pretty bad. It starts off good but after the Alien possesses Jonsey or whoever the chacters name is it just goes downhill. There is a scene where Jason Lee's chacter is sitting on a toliot with a alien with razor sharp teeth in the toilot, what does he do? He decided to try to get a toothpick and by doing so lets the Alien out of the toilot and it cuts off his fingers, weak sauce

Good sci-fi horror that doesn't let it's mistakes ruin everything else it has in store. I saw it 5 years ago and I still remember many things from it. Always a good sign.
Not exactly scary, suspensful, or even the slightest bit frightening, but it's still a good movie. As a horror movie, it's ass. As a movie, it's pretty good.

Could have been alot better...not HORRIBLE but not great.
I suggest reading the book - the book is absolutely AMAZING.

Not very famous with the critics is stephen king's dreamcatcher, i felt very interested in the story, although some of the characters felt a bit undeveloped and shortened in parts, overall it was a fun ride watching and perhaps if cut down in length and sub plot, would have made a better picture, sometimes 30 minutes of explanations and investigations takes away alot of mystery that makes a movie well.
