Underated as an actor I think Crispin Glover slips perfectly into this role and although the film didnt succeed well financially, I think alot of people like me will appreciate a film like this for being of something different, with a great interesting main character, the ending had it's botch as explained in the making of documentary, they obviously try to please the people with certain endings, rather than just making what they feel is a good ending.
