Ever wanted three wishes? Any three wishes in the entire world? What if a mummified Bull’s penis showed up in the mail for you and with it came a note telling you that you could have any three wishes granted to you? Keep the dick and make a wish or laugh it off, wave it around and turf it out? This is basically what this movie is about.

Wishcraft is basically another teen slasher flick. It was not the best I have seen but it was tolerable compared to some.

The main character is your semi-nerdy high school kid. He wants the most attractive girl in school but she of course is dating the quarterback. The girl uses the nerd for tutoring classes and that is basically it. She is not interested in him at all.

But then, out of the blue, a package arrives addressed to the nerd and inside is an ancient bull’s penis. With it, comes a note telling him any three wishes he makes will be granted. Naturally at first, he is highly skeptical and laughs it off and throws it out. He is not even sure what it is until he has had it for a day or two and takes it down the local ‘mystic’ shop. But then his friend says ‘what the hell’ and they give it a go. He wishes the girl of his dreams would ask him to the up coming dance.

The following day the girl asks him to the dance. She is unsure as to why she asks, but does anyway. It is clear that some supernatural power is at work. She then dumps him at the end of the night and goes back to her quarter back. So what does he do? He makes a stronger wish next time… “I want her to be my girlfriend” and the repeat of what happened the day before, happens again.

While the wishes are being cast, one after the other, teenagers are getting killed. They all go to the same school and believe it or not, they are all attending the same class within the school. This makes it a little predictable. But nothing will prepare you for the nasty ending! You think you have figured it all out and then it twists into this grotesque, sad and absolutely ridiculous ending that not even horror buffs would guess. It was just too odd for my liking and it didn’t hold the rest of the movie together at all. It was like two different movies were carrying on and finally get slapped together poorly at the end. I wont ruin this marvelous ending for you if you want to see for yourself.

Most of the cast you will recognize from another teen flick. I did but I don’t know their names. There are a couple of moments that weren’t too bad but those are minimal. There are some long knives, some hangings and ever seen someone die from a bowling ball? You will in this one! It’s a teen romance X teen slasher and it really is nothing flashy but see it if you are bored because as I said, it certainly isn’t the worst slasher I have seen.

I think by memory it has your traditional teen elements like boobies, humour and twist in the ending. Let me know if any of you actually guessed the ending right on this one so I can laugh my head off. I give it 4 outta 10.

Score: 4 / 10
