I loved the first movie the most but i have to admit there couldn't be a better follow-up to the original than this. The deaths were done perfect with just enough CGI unlike Part 3 & 4

BY FAR THE BEST OF THE SERIES! I love the first one but the up graded here in a major way! Loved all the characters.didn't want to c any of them die! Unfortunately my favorite got it at the end! But everything about this movie ESPECIALLY the beginning car scene to the crazy deaths works and it is one of them rare movies that beat the 1st and become one of your all time favorites!

Decently entertaining, but not very imaginative.

This is totally how you do a sequel! I almost enjoyed this more than the first. I loved the whole pile up scene, it was scarier than the Plane Crash in my opinon. The deaths seemed more grusome, I loved how they brought back Ali Larter, but I wasn't too impressed when she was killed. I was hoping there wouldn't be anymore to follow because she died. But they went and did a Third which sucked and now The Final Destination, which I haven't seen yet and I'm not sure I want to.
Now this is how you do a sequel. To me this movie did everything it possibly could right. It had an insane opening sequence that was built up and when shit hit the fan it HIT THE FAN. It had continuity with ali larter's character and it had a story that connected everyone from the previous film to this one. So it wasn't just saying death randomly picked them it was for a reason. I really don't have any complaints about this movie. It had two leads that you actually wanted to see beat death (though so did part 1) Just a great sequel.
This, for me, is the best of the series! The deaths are just so creative! And the car crash scene is the best out of the plane crash and rollercoaster crash from the 1st and 3rd. This one is pacey and has a great storyline and even greater deaths!
I really enjoyed this horror film, the science, the way things work and the creative and brutal deaths, it's caught my dream that's for sure. I quite liked the death were the fence he's fired and slashes through the druggy, although I feel sorry for the guy for he was sweet with his mother and all.
The problems I found with it though was that the character from the last film died even though I guess she was meant to, still preferred if she lived. I mainly disliked how the main character thought she'd get out of it, just made things confusing really such as she was trying to kill herself yet knew she would still be living afterwards and stuff like that, really made done my head in that's for sure.
Overall I still say I loved the deaths and the science of it, I say it's one heck of a good movie.
While this is a good movie it is my least favorite final destination movie...It starts off brilliantly has a creepy opening scene and the car crash is awesome and so is the whole movie up until the last minute at the picnic thing when the grill explodes and the hand lands in front of the mom ans she starts screaming..that was stupid...but besides that this movie is good but just not my favorite
brilliant movie, far surpassed the origin, the kills in this movie are so inventive and creative, i love the original but i think this movie progresses the overall story brilliantly and just everything is far better than the first, much better charachter development an excellent script and a load of gore, what more do you want from a slasher movie, simply brilliant a must must must must see !!!
Gorefest. This films is definately better than the original, and alot gorier. The whole premonition is so well made and filmed. A plane crash, yeah is cool, but a car pile-up is way cooler. The film's oremise is definately not the best, but one scene in the middle where it's discovered that all the survivors of the car pile-up where all supposed to die a year earlier, but couldn't because the survivors of the plane crash all died, which somehow connected the pile-up's survivors. The plot was defintaley complex, but it was good in explaining what was happening so we didn't get too confused. The ending was also really cool, and creative.
The plot, well the plot was really fun with every death really creative and thought out. The directing in the film would be really hard with the car pile-up and all the crashes throughout the film. No visable plot holes, made the film enjoyable.
The acting was a little sketchy. Ali Larter always seems to have the same tone, which is really irritating in this sort of role. She could never quite crack it for me. A.J Cook, was the standout and really made an impression. Michale Landes was also very good at his role as an officer. He really shone through to make the role more likeable, than what I believe from dialogue, it was supposed to be.
Overall "Final Destination 2", is a very gory, fast paced film, that doesn't fail to be enjoyed. My rating is 4/5.

i loved this movie and in fact i love this whole series... fd and saw are this generations freddy, michael, and jason.
this is one of those times where a sequel is actually better than the first one i thought it was great and the death scenes were great better than the first and third one, but they had a different director so the good thing is that the fourth one will be really violent and Gorey like the second and just as good or better
Surprisingly, it's a whole lot more interesting to watch, much more well acted, has a much deeper and better written plot and set of characters, and is just much better than both the first and the third installments in pretty much every way.

of course not as good as the first, but a very well done horror film that definatly follows the first one and has alot to do with the elements of the first and the effects of things changed by the first movie, which was well written and well thought out. i dont understand why devon sawa turned down this sequel when it's obvious he hasnt had much of a career to brag about

This time we're following a group of characters who are only alive because of the events in the first film. But it's only so long before Death catches up with them too. The kills in this one are really cool, and the characters are better written. Actually expands and improves on the original.
Usually sequels aren't as good but this one was great. Much better than the first one. The deaths were cool and the acting was better. love this movie.
Loved it. Great 2nd one to the series. The death scenes were awesome. The best I think is the log to the head on the freeway or the ladder impalement to the eye.
