I have been told for a long time that I should check this movie out, and I finally did!
This movie is about a ballet team rehearsing for a play, and then a psychopath escapes from a psychiatric facility and gets locked in together with the cast in the play. So it is a pretty simple plot!
What makes this movie better than the average slasher is the cinematography that is excellent. Also the kills are great! The characters in the movie behave relatively rationally which also is a big plus. The music is great, and the killer is evil (though he looks pretty funny!).
All together this movie can be recommend to slasher fans who are tired of poor teen movies like the prowler, and the boring my bloody valentine. This movie never gets boring :-) If you enjoyed this movie you should also check out the interesting "Horror Hospital".
One of the best Italian slashers of all time. An amazing killer with a great mask, brillant murders (very brutal), brillant suspense and good actors. A masterpiece!
I watched this film when it came out and was impressed with it, the pace was great and the kills were nice and gory. The owl head was just freaky and worked well. I watched again in the late 90's and it hadn't lost any appeal, although I did notice that time that the dubbing was pretty bad lol. Overall though a good film and well worth finding.
