Easily the funniest and goriest horror comedy I've ever seen. So totally low-budget and cheesy, that's what makes it so fun. Visually revolting and insanely gruesome, Dani Filth's performance really shines.

If I were a plot where would I be....not i Cradle Of Fear I can tell you that you much. But for the kind of movie it was I think an actual story line would have killed what was salvagable. Dani Filth plays "The Man" an ultra goth non talking weirdo (which works out great because the one time he speaks in the movie was really really sad) who just shows up at random moments to inflict pain and torture upon the extremely random characters. Sadly the best actor in this movie was Dani Filth and he had like 3 lines the whole movie. This movie has no budget so if you are thinking of watching it bear that in mind. The blood looks like Grape Kool-Aid at times, there's one scene (which is my favorite) where a man loses control of his new leg and is swerving through london traffic. That scene will probabaly go down as the worst CGI ever created. The car literally without wheels moving and slightly off the street swerves through traffic which was hilarious and still sad. The acting is something that you would expect from a highschool home movie. the camera work matches that. It's more comparable to a low budget music video than anything. The soundeffects for the violence nothing takes you more out of fear than kung fu sounds when somebody is getting killed. with all that said the underlying story is pretty much a convicted child killer in an asylum exacts revenge on people using Danny Filth. There is a detective in the movie but his entire role is pretty much pointless. The movie is a mix of softcore-porn and guts. If you walk into Cradle Of Fear expecting something serious you are officially out of your mind. It's a very long movie but if you can sit through the entire 2 hours you get a gay little suprise at the end.

ok i am not a fan or cradle of filth but new the movie should be sick and scary. Well this movie was sick. It was not scary and the story was not great. This movie was a let down for me. I love horror but originality is a must when shown such horrible acting and horrible effects along with someone trying to be artsy with a camera. This movie is a waste of time unless you are a big fan of cradle of filth.
