Didnt reall like it. It was quit boring. I liked how they went back in time though to show the history of the puzzle box. The conjoined twins Cenobite was a cool idea.

I didn't enjoy this movie as much as the first three. I thought it was rather boring but i enjoyed the graphics much more in this film compared to the previous films.

dont get me wrong i thought it was a great movie but i think it would have been even better if they would have just went with the story of the creation of the box, that alone in my opinion is the best part of the movie.

This was the second best film nect to the original.Cool storyline and a great one to end the series on even they kept making more. But you can never get enough cenobite inflicted pain.

This movie wrongly gets a shitty rap for being "Hellraiser in Space". It does have some scenes that take place in outer space but that is because it takes place in different periods of time. Personally, I loved it. Not my favorite in the series but still a solid movie with tons of twisted and sick imagery. The chattering dog monster scares the shit out of me. I do agree that some of the acting was slightly cheesy (the twins in particular) but I can overlook that if it delivers the sick shit I come to expect from a Hellraiser film. It's just too bad that this is the second to last one before the series took a nose dive (Despite popular opinion, I thoroughly enjoyed the series until the 6th one).

I cannot emphasise how much I hated this film. It seemed to be a made for tv low budget 'shocker', with dire acting and a very cheap feel about it.

I loved the 1st in the series, and the second was good, but what with 3 and 4 being so awful I don't think I'll bother with anymore.

As for the ending...........!!!!

This movie wasnt direct to video...it was the last one of the series that was shown into theatres...

With that said..yeah this movie is awesome! And why the fuck does people think the 3rd movie sucked!? It was really good and the gory kills were so much better than in the other films of the series!

I'm so surprised by this movie for multiple reasons:

1. the third one sucked ass
2. it was direct to video
3. it's the fourth installment in a horror franchise, nuff said; should be stale by now

But no. The movie rocks. Fucking great idea: follow the creator of the puzzle box and his ancestors through time as the try to destroy the evil they unknowingly unleashed.

Plus you have the coolest cenobite in a while: the twins with their faces twisted together.

Highly recommended.

This is the last movie that Clive Barker has anything to do with and its the best.
Although it switches between 3 eras and its more story based - which is good, we need to know why after 3 blood filled killing sprees - pin head still plays a massive part. This is also the first movie where a female cenobite/demon princess seems to have real importance. If you loved Pinheads classic phrases such as "welcom, to hell" and "your soul belongs to me!" then youll love what he has to say in this one, with new phrases such as "i cannot die!!" and "oooooh you suffer beautifully, but i am here for business not pleasure!" Apart from the question of, how much mental torture did the small boy who played le merchants son in the 20th century go through whilst being stroked by pinhead?, its all brilliant, classic hellrasier fun. You'll find the start amusing with the rubbish graphics immitating a robot opening the box, but thats the whole point of hellraiser, its still great fun. Watch the others before you watch this to get clued up on pinhead and if you - a true pinhead fan? - decide to venture to the next 4 films, prepared to come back to this one a lot to get your classic hellraiser fix

This is how an horror film should be if its in space. Bloody well made.

A very worthy sequel. Lots of Pinhead and the Cenobites, which was good. Music was good, acting was fairly good, the locations were great, and I did like the story line. I really liked how it would flash back to the past and present and future, that was really cool. One of my personal favorites of the series. Recommended to all Hellraiser fans as well.

Second worse in the series Terrible plot Terrible acting Terrible cenobites (not including Pinhead) Terrible idea in space Terrible ending. Terrible movie.

I watched this in the theater, and it stayed with me for while. This is a good movie. Not full of the gore and blood of the first two and not the lessons of seeking hell. But it really good. I actually like the style of the movie a little more. This is not scary at all but enjoyable.

Not too shabby. Though if I were to rank it of the first 5 films I've seen, this would be the second worst, after 3 of course.

Pretty good plot follows the generations of the man who created the original Lament Configuration. For some reason, everyone in the bloodline are identical (played by the same actor), which was a pretty corny turn of casting considering I don't care for this actor in one role, let alone 3. Something about him pisses me off, and I can't pinpoint what. He just looks like a douche.

Beyond that, Pinhead is a great menacing presence once again. Still not abiding by the rules set forth in 1 and 2, but not straying as far as he did in 3. And I can understand why Hell might allow him to do some freelance work in order to ensure the ultimate gateway is created. The ending was kind of corny, and didn't even carry over into 'Inferno', but it certainly did not ruin the experience. And ya, Pinhead has a cenobite dog, which was kind of unnecessary, but it's nice to see some creature action again, since I don't remember seeing any since the wall crawler guy in the first film.

Great GREAT violence and gore. It remains, as always, creative and disgusting.

Overall, I give this film 3.5 skulls for it's creativity and pure entertainment value. Not back to what I would call the classy elements of the series, but I had just seen 3 before this one, and it is light years ahead of that mess.
