Great movie! stay far away from its sequels (yes even the second one). Sweet 80's gore that is not at all as brutal as some reviews would have you think, but uber violent regardless.
Shitty acting in this one, but if you did't see that coming you have no business watching this in the first place.

I absolutely loved this film! In regards to Ryan Daley's comment about how everyone experiences Italian horror for the first time with one particular director, mine is without a doubt Dario Argento, and as much of a fan I am of Argento's films, I have to admit that seeing Bava's Demons for the very first time was like stepping out of a dark corner into the luminescence that is Italian horror. This film is definitely a praise worthy addition to Italian horror, and a delightful gem in the 80's demonic possession sub-genre. I also have to mention that as typically bad as the acting was (coming out of Italy and all...) the vast aray of colorful characters is what really made me enjoy the movie the most. The African-American ho demon is without a doubt one of the gnarliest demons I've ever seen. The special effects reminded me of a Peter Jackson splatter film--Dead Alive to be specific--with all the green slime and oozing facial lesions. I'm giving this movie a 10/10 and recommending it to any horror fan who hasn't yet had the opportunity to check it out.

What and amazing film from the 80's. This movie should be in every horror movie fans collection. You can not call yourself a fan of horror with out this, and of course Night Of Living Dead. If you call yourself a horror fan and don't have these your nothing more then a poser. But enough about that.

lets move onto Demons, a kick ass horror film, that delivers, the blood, guts, and glory. You already no what it's about so lets skip that.

This movie also packs in a kick ass soundtrack. Awesome dubbing, I didn't even know it was dubbed. Is it me or do the Italians know how to dub in a movie. Because every flick I see that is Italian they do a great job. I rented What Have you done to slonge another great flick.

But demons has it all, laughs, scares, awesome music. hot babes, goth people, more babes, more blood, awesome looking demons. I wish they still made movies like this.

The 2nd one was pretty good too. But not as amazing as this one, The 2nd one has cooler mutation scenes, but really didn't have that much gore like this one. I will be watching the 3rd one soon.

had not seen this movie in quite a few years, but had the chance to do so recently. A simple story line with plenty of gore. An excellent film for its time and one that could benefit from being remade, if done correctly.

Urbano Barberini how I love you in this movie; not since Terror at the Opera have you been so kickass. This movie rocks with music from Billy Idol Motley Crue and the Goblins, and well known Italian cast and Argento secretly Directing this movie you can't go wrong. I first say this one in the first grad and it scared the hell out of me, well I'm 25 now and it still creeps me out. Everything about this movie is great from the Blind guy, the pimp and his ho's, the cursed mask and the HOT red head who works at the theater to the wicked apocoliptic ending!!! Urbano Barberini does his best Ash impression in this one and it works, EX When he's riding the dirt bike using the samuri sord to kill Demoni..lol. This is such a great Italian horror movie everyone NEEDS to watch this one I give DEMONI 10 Demon Hookers out of 10 Demon Hookers!!

I remember my 16th birthday. My dad turned up with the latest Fangoria mag and as I opened it, Demons fell out ( the D.V.D...not real imp types). I was so excited as I am a big fan of argento's since his involvment of Dawn Of The Dead. I watched it that night and I absolutly loved it. The demons were hidieous, the gore was brilliant and the plot was great.

The acting though WAS laughable, but all is forgiven because it's a classic. From then on I brought the film round to sleep overs and parties and my mates thought it was fantastic too. There's some great directing in it too, I loved the scene that's on the cover. And the madness was tense too. Great monster movie. Every horror fan should have this in their collection. I wonder how long it will take to remake...I don't think it should be touched!

Gotta love this movie. Cheez at its best expression! From totally archetypical characters to endless splatter fun, this movie rocks! The pimp is particularly hilarious and it never ceases to amaze me every time I watch the movic... what the fuck is doing an enduro bike in the lobby of a cinema, let alone, with a demonic mask hanging out of it? Who cares, this is Demons, pure fun!
