I Spit On Your Grave is a movie ive been wanting to check out for some time and i finally got around to seeing it. overall i liked it, it wasnt bad at all. it is rather slow moving but thats the point, the rape scene does go on for awhile and gets a little more violent as it goes on and what can i say..its uncomfortable to watch. i thought Camille Keaton (Jennifer, the main girl) did a great job of playing the victim. i didnt like how she goes about getting her revenge though. the bathtub scene was pretty good and it made me squirm but the other deaths were ehhhh. could have been better. if your reading this review then i recommend you check it out, see it once because of the reputation it has recieved over the years...but like me, you might not want to watch it again.
One of the classic "video nasties". I tend to watch this flick & "Last House on the Left" back to back. It has the same intense realism as Last House. After the horrible events that befall our main character, she goes out on a rampage. But she does it with a "spider & the fly" kinda' method. The kills & violence are very graphic. You really want the villians in this film to get theirs. Not for the sqemish, but a hell of a ride!!!
great revenge movie very gritty and even harder to watch at times than last house this movie will either leave a bad taste in your mouth or it will leave a bad taste in your mouth....watch it anyway its classic and bring your date with you!
This was one of the most incredibly horrible movies of all time and not in a good way! Either I am desensitized by violence altogether or the fact that the plot allowed for these individuals to brutally rape someone not once...but 3 times is beyond me! The director was trying to make an artsy fartsy flick and it came up with very long boring shots of nothing. I cannot believe this movie was banned in certain theaters...it should have been banned for being a complete waste of time..i want my 2 hours back!

Be preared to sit through some awful acting and direction in this piece of sleaze. But has some gritty scenes that will stick with you after viewing. Great new DVD edition out.
wow i loved this movie soo much i hate rape in movies but this is a must watch just for the shower scene i didn't think it would make me cringe but it did =]
and she gets her vengeance!

This movie made me cringe. I almost shut it off due to the brutality of what these men do to this woman. It isn't the greatest film, but it was interesting to watch and a few of the scenes (particularly the rapes) really got to me and were difficult to watch. I would recommend it.

when she cuts the guys cock off in the bathtube, well, that shit got to me. Definitely a cool classic.
