They butchered the books on this one. I though I used to like this movie but i realize I only liked it because Jonathon Davis from Korn did all the songs in the movie so it was the songs I liked and not the movie. The movie it self was just shit and Stuart townsend as Lestat was worse that Tom Cruise. The vampire fighting scene at the concert was a fucking joke. Everything except the music was a joke. Try watching interview of the vampire and then this movie and I guarantee you will realize how pathetic this movie is.

A great way to destroy not ONE but TWO great books and their mythology... Very dissapointing...

I remember back in 02 people in high school used to talk about this film...how awesome it was and blah blah. I tried liking it but I didn't...it's an awful film and most of the music sucked.

KingOfHorror - OMG, dude, chill out. just cause she died tragically, there's no need to praise everything she's done throughout her life! There's nothing insulting in saying that she didn't do well in this movie...

yeah, I know the saying that you should only say good about dead people, but it's the 21st century. I think we're way passed the dogmas and restrictions imposed by religious officials...luckily

Well certainly not the best vampire flick ever and wasn't what I wanted to see in Aaliyah's last performance(which by the way she wasn't in it nearly as much as I thought or was hoping) but a ok movie. The music was great!Aaliyah did rock in her short time on screen as the queen and Stuart was great.Really the movie was saved from the cast.

Really bad movie. Aaliyah was great but other than that there isn't any reason to watch it.

horribly boring, uninteresting and the only good thing that was half decent was the score by jonathan davis
