i actually pretty enjoyed this, i did watch it with pretty low expectations and i was plesently surprised, the identity of the killer is difficult to predict and the film keeps you guessing until the end yes its logic doesnt make sense and there are plotholes everywhere but if you just hold your breathe and ignore those then its actually not bad everyone does well in there roles and okay it will never ever top anybodys top 10 films list i actually thought it was really good and worth a watch.

The first one was really cool second one can suck my nuts and this one actually wasnt that bad. I thought it was really sllow and boring at parts but overall not horrible. One of the better films in the HorrorFest. Still doesnt beat Autopsy.

Having actually watched this one
and let me say Ashton Kutcher sucks!
This far reached beyond its predecessors
in actually becoming a decent thriller. The gore is awesome and the acting not so bad-not the best but not bad either. I'd say Rachel Miner is the only good thing to watch in this. But I was indeed glad I gave this one a chance having wanton to blow my brains out after pt. 2's worthless endevour and though I figured out right away who the killer was--so obvious, it was still somewhat entertaining so watch it for what it is but don't expect a whole lot.

Having passed up watching Butterfly Effect 2 based on the fact I disliked the first one, from what I gather
after viewing this third entry watching the second one doesnt change anything or nothing is really missed at all,
this is definatly a stand alone film in the series, and by far it's the best entry as far as a interesting story goes.
I wont say much about the film to keep from spoiling anything, but it's a who dun it killer movie, and it fits well
in the after dark series, and is one of the better offerings, if not the best offering of this years batch, it's definatly
worth watching once if your interested in time travel and/or who dun it killer movies, but I must confess I had a
high suspicion right before the killer is revealed and I guessed it correctly, although some people might not see it coming.
Overall it's still not quite good enough for me to give a good rating, good movies I rate get at least a 7/10 rating, any lower
than that is just average and below average films in my opinion. Given more time and a few more passes on the script
they probably could have really delievered a solid thriller with the proper amounts of dramatic elements involved as well,
but as usual the film is a bit "dumbed" down to deliever to the masses, which is unfortunate because the final result lacks
the things that make a average movie good.
