Low on plot & off the charts in gore! It's another Fulci classic, from the Italian master of splatter this one is sure to please. With some of the greatest gore moments ever on screen, can't be missed.

I have to say. Italians, Know how to create phenomenal atmosphere. Lucio Fulci does just that in this supernatural thriller. The story centers around a priest who hangs himself in a cemetery which then unleashes a curse. Later on, this curse does involve the Undead, but they aren't actually the main focus of the story until near the end of the film. I will say this movie does have some shocking moments, and though i won't give it away, the first image of one of the female's eyes bleeding in this film and what follows, will make you want to vomit. Yes the story gets lost in the film, and while the acting isn't superior, they do a decent job. There are so many twists and turns and with the Argento type lighting and atmosphere you can't really go wrong here. No, this isn't "The Beyond", nor is it "Dawn of the Dead", but, if you go into this to be entertained while appreciating atmosphere and Italian cinema, I think you will find this Quite enjoyable.

Fulci is God. This movie was fucking great (minus the ending... kinda quick and anticlimactic) The gore more than makes up for it though ;)

Fulci at his magnificent best. Atmospheric with a real sense of unease.Features some real gruesome gore and for Fulci it keeps a decent pace. Some stunning scenes and memorable moments.

more violent and more evil feeling compared to most zombie flicks, definatly had some very very creepy and overall scary stuff.
I sometimes find myself not really enjoying the entertainment of some horror films, and in terms of fun and entertaining, this film doesnt supply that nor does it try to, it takes itself very seriously and holds nothing back.

I loved this zombie flick, it was just a gory messy entertaining thrill ride! I laughed I winced I loved it!! Why we don't have directors like FULCI any more makes me wanna cry!! I give Paura nella città dei mor 10 rotting corpeses out of 10 rottin corpeses!!!
