Boogeyman 2 redeemed the suckfest the first Boogeyman brought upon this planet. Making a third installment was a risk, and it failed tremendously. To be honest, I didn't even bother finishing this. And I'm the kind of person who was bored enough to finish other suckfests like One Missed Call (remake) and Twilight.
The opening scene was so cliche, I literally couldnt take it, and watched 17 Again instead. And I'm saying this in a horror site. That's how much this film sucks.
Didn't like the first, didn't like the second and unsurprisingly, I didn't like the third. Although to its credit, I enjoyed it more than the previous two. Hard to believe that the first Boogeyman spawned a franchise.
A direct-to-dvd supernatural cheesy horror aimed at a teenage audience.
wow, now we have 'nightmare on elm street 14' AKA Boogeyman 3, are these folks just ripping off other peoples ideas or what?
Anyway i liked this movie, in spite of the fact that it was a band-aid on the severed limb that was boogeyman 2, still had nothing to do with the original, in fact like the second one this couldn't be called original from any angle, but it was still fun to watch.
The worst of the bunch. The boogeyman himself just plain looks retarded for one. I don't know who did the makeup in this film but they should never work in the industry ever again.
Not to mention the deaths all suck and lacked any sort of special effects CG or otherwise. A guy gets his neck cut open by his own broken bong? Come on.
The idea isn't bad or anything, it just feels a bit dull and hackneyed. Feels more like the fourth Urban Legends movie.
After the horrible Boogeyman 1 I don't even know why I rented 2 but I'm glad I did because it was very entertaining and Boogeyman 3 is even better than Boogeyman 2!!! Boogeyman 3 should have came to theaters and 2 should of too but 1 had to ruin that. If 2 had been one and 3 had of been 2 this series would be very successful and probably do as good as saw..but 1 had to just ruin 2 and 3's chances of a theatrical run...anyway to the movie...The acting was decent but it was beleivable so that is good and the blood and gore was good 2..I actually cared for all the characters especially the main girl and the ht brown haired guy who was killed by being pulled in the chest and crushed...he was sexy as hell...bthe music was good to and the caring for the main girl is what makes this and all horror movies important...if you don't care for the characters than your not going to enjoy the movie......
This movie was pretty bad...I thought the 2nd one was the best out of them all...

It was ok for a dorm horror film with the usual charaters ( mimi michaels, erin cahill,) cant say much for the director gary jones. but it has enough entertainment to be watchable.

Director: Gary Jones
Writer: Brian Sieve.
Surprisingly, the "Boogeyman," franchise seems to be getting only bigger and stronger from the poorly made original; although, light on any back story "Boogeyman 3," delivers a high intensity thriller. There is a connection with "Boogeyman 3," to the previous films with some of the surviving characters, from the first film making a brief appearance before dying bloodily in this second sequel. While the second sequel took place in a mental health hospital this feature takes place in a college dormitory that is stock full of victims for this long-fingered foe. Briefly introducing some new characters, in the form of several disbelieving psychology students "Boogeyman 3," provides several scares and laughs before dispatching most of the main characters.
This low budget straight to DVD follows a classic ghost story plot line with a central female character questioning her own sanity while trying to convince her friends about the existence of a supernatural killer. In fact, most of the other characters suspect Sarah (Erin Cahill) is partially insane and laughable as she talks about a demon lurking in her closet and under her bed. Many of the laughs from the film come when Sarah fails miserably to convince her fellow students that the "Boogeyman," does exist. There are some special effects and CGI in the film, but most of the suspense comes from the story and use of dark costumes and lighting. As well, "Boogeyman 3," uses the cheapest and oldest special effect of all time nudity.
The demonic killer, who seems to be unstoppable as he lurks from sequel to sequel utilizes a dark mist and poorly lighted hallways to cloak his presence before pouncing on unassuming studiers. Many of dead do not get a chance to fight back before this hideously laughing creature; hangs, impales, terrorizes, and drowns his victims. Several gruesome deaths involving; industrial dryers, bloody heating ducts, and a broken marijuana bong create for a hilarious, yet gorrifying watch.
"Boogeyman 3," is full of scares, funny deaths, and somewhat believable acting, which makes "Boogeyman 3," an entertaining watch for those who like some comedy with their horror films. On the other hand, the overuse of flashing lights (probably someone turning a light switch off and on) and the appearance of several horror cliches like; the crazy woman and a killer who picks off his prey one by one might deter some viewers (kill a whole group for once). Overall, "Boogeyman 3," is worthy of a rental or a one time watch, which is really all this film strives to be.

I Thought It Was Really Good, I Like How The Main Girl Explained How The Boogeyman's Only Real If You Believe He's Real.
The Death's Were A Tad Dissapointing,But That's Because The Second Movie Had The BEST Death Scenes.
So It Was All In All Really Good.

Wasn't that bad, but wasn't anything compared to the second...

really cheap and despite its flaws i really enjoyed this movie becuase the new boogeyman in this one is really scary and the death scenes were kinda cool but boogeyman 2 was better but this is definetly better than the first boogeyman.

i think that the boogeyman himself is scary as shit, but that gore was just horrible and if you are trying to put that much gore into a movie then at least spend the time and money to make it good... otherwise the acting was good... the script was good... i jumped a couple of times and that is wha ti wanted to feel.
