this is where the franchise began to fall apart. if it's about Chucky trying to kill people in a military school, chances are it's not going to be good.

PS, at the end, if Chucky is trying to be a better Two-Face than Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever, he'll have to try harder.

Definitely the black sheep of the Child's Play sequels. Even the deaths were uninspired.

This is where I feel the series began to seem dull. Chucky still chasing Andy in this one isn't to bad but I didn't like who they picked to play him. Most characters deserved to die in this one in my opinon. I wouldn't recommend.

What a dissapointment. Honest. I loved the first 2, they were fresh, scary, gory and full of dark humour. But Child's Play 3 destroys all of that, with terrible acting, script, special effects, plot and, well, everything. Although, don't get me wrong on this one, I enjoyed watching it, which is strange for my score. Some of the death scenes were pretty neat, but overall one hell of an dissapointment. The plot is horrible, what were they thinking? Older child, army camp! God, what a mistake. I can't really say much more, but I say don't watch this, and stick with the first two. A big dissapointment.

4/10

I did not really care to much for this one. The story was weak, the kills were weak, and the ending was pretty weak.

this movie along with seed of chucky were by far the worst ones. the best part in all of part 3 was the opening re creation of chucky.

not bad, pretty interesting

The worst of all the Chucky films, filled with annoying characters who Chucky just can't kill fast enough. Skip it & go straight to Bride of Chucky for a good time.

this movie was fun and pretty good idea.... chucky in a army champ only bad things were Andy got replaced with a older looking acter and i would have like to see Andy's mom made a come back in this other then that this movie was fun to watch

Why do people think this is a bad movie ?
It's a great movie , actually.
I really enjoyed it , and Chucky's design in this one is really good. The music is amazing , and i have fallen in love with it. The movie has alot of cool and somewhat gory scenes , and a kick-ass ending. It can get somewhat boring during a few scenes , but it's still a great movie.

not as good as the first...horrible idea for a movie in the first place...what were they thinking?

Posted By: Chadinator92 at 10:15am, June 15, 2009

The 3rd was ok, but it shouldn't of took place in a military school!

Somebody took a dump on Chucky in this one. Seriously. From the totally stupid ass premise to the the horrible Chucky puppets to the retarded barber; this movie is almost 100% suck in my eyes. But I'm a Chucky fan so I enjoy it to a mild degree. The first death sequence, him getting his face cut off and him being thrown in the giant fan are the only real great parts of the movie.

Shitty.

I didn't really like the 3rd as much as the first two. this was the last good chucky :(

Amazing killer doll flick, the last good Chucky episode before it got far into self parody. Give me Puppet Master any day though, those guys don't sell out.

this is my favorite out of the series, beside the first. i think its awesome seeing how the doll transforms through all five movies..as far as the appearance. Anyone heard any news on the new remake?

I actually really enjoyed this I was expecting it to be really crap! But it's great fun to watch. It's not scary but its still quite gory and it has a story, a daft story but still a story, I like how chucky is so mischievious its great! This is the first child's play i've seen so I can't wait to see the first!

Child's play 3 is entertaining yet lacks acting and being scary. The new installment is not the worst and actually has it's moments. But seriously it's getting tired now. Child's play was scary and first introduced you to the doll. After seeing the doll in three films gets a little out of hand. Let me correct myself. You see Chucky in 5 films. Child's play, Child's play 2, Child's play 3, Bride of Chucky, and Seed of Chucky. Basically if you loved the first two you'd like this one but you would still feel disappointed.

For some reason, we've decided to move the action a few years into the future, as Chucky continues to follow the kid form the first film (now played by another actor). Setting this one at a military boarding school is an odd choice, but it does give this movie a different visual feel. Brad Dourif continues to entertain as Chucky, and there's a memorable cameo from Andrew Robinson. I enjoyed this one, but it's not as good as part two.

I'm not really feeling this one. The whole storyline is kinda boring. Only thing this one has going for it is hot guys and Chucky himself but thats it. The acting is not really all that great.
